Hotel Description

The Zanzibar House is a Boutique Hotel, located on the north eastern coast of the island, in the Matemwe area 40 km from Stone Town.

Zanzibar House has 8 rooms, 5 with ocean view, 2 with a view of the rich vegetation that surrounds the area and 1 (our friends room smaller than the others) with a view of the internal cobblestones and small terrace.

Rooms: We have three types of rooms with stunning views. Five overlook the Indian Ocean, two overlook the palm grove where you can enjoy the sunset and a smaller one for friends. All rooms are accessed through a typical Zanzibar door. All are furnished in typical Zanzibari style and have large balconies made of coconut wood.

Double sea view: Five rooms with sea view, wooden floors and a 10 sqm terrace from which to enjoy the sunrise, lulled by the ocean breeze.

Triple palm grove view: Two triple rooms overlooking the greenery of the terrace with 30 square meters of terrace from which to enjoy the beauty of the island’s nature and the sunset.

Bar: During the day it will be possible to have drinks, fresh fruit juices and cocktails overlooking the sea and relax to the sound of water and music.

Restaurant: offers international dishes and local cuisine with always fresh products; the bar offers cocktails and drinks to be enjoyed on the patio.

A swimming pool with whirlpool, sauna and turkish bath are at guests’ disposal.

Massages and Treatments – we have a selection of luxury treatments

For our treatments we use Inaya Zanzibar products because they are organic products, free from parabens, sls, flatates, artificial colors and obtained without any cruelty towards animals.

Location: our hotel will give you the opportunity to relax, only from the rustle of the wind and the lapping of the waves.

Excursions: We will be happy to personalize your stay with tailor-made excursions, car rental to explore the island on your own, diving courses & our on site dive centre, fishing trips and much more.
