GETTING HERE! We are 300 kilometres from Harare! You will need to hire a car from Harare Airport.
When you reach Mutare take the Vumba road and drive 17 kilometres and turn left just after the metal map board on your left. Follow the two sign posts to Eden Lodge for 2.4 kilometres,and then turn right off the tar road.Continur to follow sign posts to Eden Lodge and villa del Vumba for 1.5 kilometres.
On reaching the entrance to Eden Lodge continue on the dirt road following sign post to Ville day Vumba.Continue past turn off to Ville da Vumba on your right, for another 300 metres and turn right when you see my sign post MADRUGADA. Continue 300 metres through the forest till you come to my round about and drive up past double garage with green doors to the Lodge.Engage 4x 4 at the garage if you have it,as last 50 metres is a bit steep. Park on the right hand side behind the A frame.

Directions – When you arrive at the first set of robots in Mutare cross over Robert Mugabe Road and continue past a Service station on your left till you come to a T junction (You will see Polytech Residence on your left). Turn right and follow signs for Beira and Forbes Border post.
After 2 kilometres you cross a railway line and you will see a road off to your left to the Mozambique Border. Just continue straight for another half a kilometre till you see Bvumba Service Station on your left. Turn left at this intersection onto the Bvumba Road.
Continue on Bvumba Road and turn left at the 17km peg. One of the signs at the junction reads BURMA VALLEY and another reads EDEN LODGE 4kms (you also will see a metal map board of Bvumba just before turning).
Be careful as there is another BURMA VALLEY ROAD off to your RIGHT earlier, on your way up at the 9km peg. Do not take this road as you will end up in a rural area and lost.
Continue for 2km after turning off to the left at the 17km peg, and then turn right off the tar road. There will be two signs – one says EDEN LODGE and the other VILLA DE BVUMBA.
When you come to the entrance to Eden Lodge continue for 1km. You will then come to a road off to your right near an A-frame and a sign saying VILLA DE BVUMBA. Continue straight down the steep bumpy road and around a corner where you will see a sign to your right saying MADRUGADA.
Follow the road through the forest for 300 metres till you come to a roundabout and there will be a small concrete road up to the Lodge. GPS co-ordinates: -19.095265, 32.759378
