We have Two Thai, Full-time housekeepers that live on the estate in their own self contained accommodation. We have built up a reputation whereby the majority of our bookings are returning guests or personal recommendations.
Dee Dee Villa Retreat is available for those looking for tranquility and solitude.
Dee Dee Villas are located in the secluded bay of Haad Thong Lang in the north-west of , Thailand. Situated on 2,000 sqm of ‘PRIME BEACH FRONT’ land facing Koh Ma and Koh Tao.
The Villas are situated on “prime beach front land” arranged over 3 tiers utilizing the natural topography with the highest tier 20 meters above sea level and the lowest tier 5 meters above sea level incorporating uninterrupted vistas of sea, sky, sand, jungle and mountains.
Dee Dee Villas are set in beautiful mature Thai/Chinese style gardens with authentic ornaments and a vast variety of flowers and plants making it a nature haven for butterflies, birds and wild life.
The 10m by 5m family friendly swimming pool with shallow Jacuzzi has a maximum depth of 1.50m is positioned on the middle tier of the estate.
Dee Dee Villas are 600 meters from the main Government Road , down a meandering concrete grass verged road .
Guest access
Minimum stay of 3 nights except from 1st December – 15th January when the minimum stay is 7 nights.
Our Housekeepers Khun Peeak & Khun Yom offer a Full Luxury Villa Service as well as a ‘optional’ Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner Menu, Free WiFi available throughout the whole estate.
A car Chauffeur service is also an option. ( Toyota Hilux 4×4 )
Other things to note – Dee Dee Villas are within 5 minutes drive or 15/30 minute walk of the charming fisherman’s village of Chaloklum, boasting quaint wooden houses, restaurants, bars and other essential services.
The more diverse and buzzing port town of Thong Sala is a 20 minute drive with Banks – Tesco – Big C – Makro – Delicatessen’s, and fresh food market’s.
All rooms have 3 meter wide sliding glass doors opening out to ocean views.
Air conditioning is installed in 4 bedrooms , and Villa 1 lounge/ kitchen .
The Villas, living rooms have 5 meter high vaulted ceilings and standalone inside and outside fans.
All beds are bespoke in Thai teak wood, the mattresses are pocket sprung to European standard. All pillows are goose/duck down with cotton bed linen
Hammock Sala (4m by 6m) The Sala is situated on the third tier of the estate 5 meters ‘ABOVE ’ the beach of Haad Thong Lang with private beach access via steps.
Sun/Star Terrace (4m by 5m) – Situated above Villa 2 with it’s Saan Phra Phum (Spirit House), this totally private area is ideal for Yoga – Meditation – or just pondering the tranquility of solitude.
The Bay at Haad Thong Lang is one of the few remaining undeveloped bays on Koh Phangan and we all like it this way. The Beach of Haad Thong Lang is a mixture of sand and pebble with a natural shallow coral reef (high / low tide seasonal).
We personally advise beach shoes anywhere on Koh Phangan or Thailand for that matter.
We have a seasonal water shortage on the island and ask you to be as Conservative as you can. No toilet paper, tissues etc to be put into the toilet. Please use the bins provided which are disposed of daily. We are not on a Western style grid !!!
Dee Dee Villa Retreat was built on virginal beach front land in the jungle and is totally self sufficient (electric, water, sewage, waste).
There are currently another 7 privately owned villas located in ‘Zone A’ in the bay of Haad Thong Lang.
Photocopy of all guests passports upon arrival (This is a requirement under Thai Law)
A refundable deposit paid in cash of 20,000 Thai baht is required upon check in for each villa. (the equivalent in EURO USD, SGD, AUD or GBP is acceptable – we do not accept credit cards, cheques, crypto currencies, I.O.U’s, gold teeth, small children, puppy dogs, co-op green shield stamps or any false promises) – if you have read this far down you deserve a bit of satire!, returned upon a satisfactory check out.
Many guests ask how much to tip our House keepers ,the average tip would be 150 Thai Baht per day – per villa please pay directly to Khun Peeak & Khun Yom. Thank you
