Trees Too Guest Lodge is 8 Km from the Crocodile Bridge gate into the Kruger Park, 5 Km from the Mozambique border and 64Km from the Swaziland border.

Komatipoort is the warmest towns in South Africa – so all of our guest rooms enjoy air-conditioning and five of the eight are under cooling thatch. All rooms have DSTV, mini-bar fridges  and private entrances. Most rooms and beds have mosquito nets, but not all due to the shape of the room. This is however not a problem. Our rooms are small, but our lodge is packed with personality!

Stay 2 or 3(or more) nights as we are the perfect base for day trips into the Kruger Park (guided or self drive), Swaziland and Mozambique, but Mpumalanga’s Wild Frontier is also rich in activities from micro-light flights, golf, fishing, elephant back and horse back safaris to quad biking

Most of our rooms are laid out around the sparkling pool that is Trees Too’s centre-piece. Our tropical gardens are dominated by more than twenty beautiful royal palm trees which rustle coolingly in the Summer breezes.

All rooms are en suite with air con, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. We have a licensed bar and restaurant serving breakfast and dinner from a menu (See ‘Food and Drink’ for full details). N.B. NO self catering facilities. We have FREE WiFi throughout the lodge.

Apart from DSTV in the bedrooms there is a comfortable, communal lounge with magazines and a small library in several languages and a variety of games

Security is not a big issue in the quiet village of Komatipoort, but our spacious car park is secured by an automated gate and has ample room for guest cars and the occasional ‘normal’ sized trailer/small boat.

The perimeter of Trees Too is protected by a state of the art security system which is activated overnight,meaning no entry/exit over night (2200-0500) , ensuring a peaceful and secure night’s sleep for all.

NB: As we are based in very rural South Africa with very limited transport for guests and staff, we do have some important house rules which may seem limiting..but are essential to your well being and our operation:

*Check in 1400-2200 and check out 0500-1000

*We have NO self catering facilities as we have a restaurant and bar.

*We firmly lock our gates 2200-0500 to ensure a peaceful and secure night’s sleep for all guests and ourselves! No entrance/exit between those hours

*We have domestic animals including a couple of soppy/customer service dogs and cats on our premises which makes for a homely atmosphere…don’t come here if this freaks you!
