Tomjachu Bush Retreat is an award-winning, owner-run nature reserve and retreat, situated just 15km outside Mbombela / Nelspruit in the heart of the Lowveld.

Our retreat’s location within a private reserve allows you to explore the abundant natural wonders that flourish in the surrounding 500 hectare property, whilst immersing yourself in elegant comfort.

We offer a variety of accommodation options, including historic suites in the Homestead, cozy secure Cottages, and up to our 5* Villa which can accommodate up to 12 people – all beautifully furnished and with stunning views of the surrounding mountain reserve. The Homestead – Our menus embody home-style cooking with elegant flair, Sit by the fire to enjoy canapés before a sumptuous three-course set menu dinner by candlelight in our intimate dining room.

With continental and cooked breakfast options you can enjoy a healthy or a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day, with a dramatic mountain backdrop. Light lunches are also available with prior arrangement.
