Tamodi has a pool and outdoor braai/barbeque for those summer days, the beautiful white sand beach of Keurbooms is a couple of minutes’ drive away. It is equally enjoyable in the colder months with 3 massive indoor fireplaces, two lounges and a comfortable reading room. There are also many great hikes in the area.
Tamodi is a carefully designed main house, two free-standing honeymoon suites, the two free-standing luxury suites and stable buildings, which blend with the bush and natural environment, as well as the gardens, dams and the developing fruit and vegetable oasis.

Standard Rooms – Main Lodge Building – two cozy standard suites with high ceilings and beams. With private deck areas in each suite and a sweeping view of the valley. The stone bath in the corner of the suites call to guests to relax in while overlooking the view.
Honeymoon Suite – Main Lodge Building – Romantic and inviting. The spacious deck area invites you to enjoy breathtaking views. The stone bath enjoys views overlooking the valley, our indoor/outdoor shower is the perfect place to soak up nature.
Honeymoon Suites – Separate Buildings – Charming and romantic, our two free-standing honeymoon suites. Each situated in their own building, they are lovely and private. Their cozy deck areas enjoy breathtaking views.
LUX Honeymoon Suites – Separate Building – Indulgent luxury with one of our two gorgeous flagship suites. High ceilings and large windows. With a fireplace to heat up the entire suite on cold winter days, an air of cosiness.

Tamodi Stables – was born out of Owen and Lynne’s passion for horses. We are a small competitive livery yard managed by Lynne who has been riding for more than 30 years and has competed successfully in open show jumping, open showing, dressage to elementary level and lower level eventing.
Mountain biking – spectacular cycling routes, indigenous forest trails and beautiful scenery make this part of the Garden Route a favourite mountain biking destination.
Bird viewing – We are in the Keurboom heights, Crags area of the Garden route and surrounded trees and nature. We have built two bird viewing platforms in the bush to enable an even better bird viewing experience.
Intimate weddings – Tamodi is an intimate guest lodge ideal for a small wedding. We only cater for 14 guests or less (unless by prior arrangement) but will make it a very special occasion.
Honeymoons – We have many Honeymoon options to choose from. All the romantic rooms are pure luxury. There are his & hers sinks and an indoor as well as an outdoor shower – take your pick! Relax with a glass of champagne in the large stone baths. The comfortable king size bed looks onto beautiful indigenous forest views.
Plettenberg Bay is often hot and pleasant in summer and has mild, wet winters. The Garden Route is considered to have one of the most temperate climates in the world, with almost year-round sunshine.
Hot summer temperatures are between 24°C (75F) and 30°C (86F). In the mid-winter months (June, July and August), days are often mild and warm but when the sun sets, the air becomes crisp and cold.
