LOCATION
As you drive along the main road that runs along the southern coast of Barbados, you will see a small road that turns toward the water with a big sign at the entrance that says “St. Lawrence Gap”. It is a small, one lane road that makes a loop right along the beach and then heads back to the main road. The St. Lawrence Gap, or “The Gap” has become the most popular place for locals and visitors to spend their evenings, since it is lined with great restaurants serving a variety of cuisines from all over the world, bars that range from reggae to karaoke, and clubs including the brand new Sugar Ultra Lounge.
South Gap Hotel is located right in the center of the action in The St. Lawrence Gap. There is a variety of dining and entertainment options right outside the door. Or you might choose to just stay in the hotel and enjoy the stunning ocean views and great affordable food that we have to offer. If it’s a beach you are looking for, you won’t have to walk far, since there are beaches just a few steps away from the hotel.
DINING
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, Salvio’s Bar & Restaurant is open daily from 7:00 am until 10:30 pm. Dine poolside or on the oceanfront terrace shaded by umbrellas. Indulge in our local and international cuisine or try our rum punch which has been lauded by guests as the best on the island! We also offer specialty coffee drinks and a daily happy hour from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
