How To Get Here – There are a few routes to our lodge.
Travel along the Congo-Nile trail from the RN4 road connecting Musanze/Ruhengeri and Gisenyi/Rubavu. Turn just after the Pfunda tea factory and follow the trail – also known as RN11, all the way to Karongi.
Travel is approximately 5 hours from Kigali along an extremely scenic route, taking you past the volcanoes national park where you will see the 5 peaks in the Northern Province.
You can also travel from Kigali south towards Huye and turn right at Muhanga and take the road all the way to Karongi. Travel time is approximately 3-4 hours from Kigali. The road is currently being resurfaced so we advise to travel during the day time.
