Accommodation:

Tshukudu Villa – Indulge in a romantic getaway, a privately situated all-inclusive one bedroom villa. This luxury villa is ideal for a couple looking for an idyllic and intimate safari experience.

The plush bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. As with all our villas, Tshukudu is complete with a fully equipped kitchen, beautifully furnished living room, large patio and boma for wonderful open-air barbeques. In addition, you will have your own splash pool and outdoor shower.

Enjoy panoramic views over the plains of Madikwe and the scattered inselberg outcrops that are unique to the area. You can choose to relax on your private deck or take a stroll to the underground hide which has a close-up view of a waterhole frequented by beautiful, diverse wildlife.

Nare Villa – Tranquil and luxurious in a secluded setting – designed for the couple looking for an intimate and romantic safari experience. positioned high on the cliffs and offers breathtaking views of the huge plains below.

Buffalo have been spotted from the underground hide drinking at the waterhole (within walking distance from the villa), lending the villa its name.

This is a one-bedroom villa with a luxurious king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience. The charm and appeal of Africa is imbued through the natural textures and tones of the villa, carefully accented by modern twists.

The living room, large patio, private splash pool, and boma ensure your romantic, intimate get-away is all you dreamed it would be!

Tlou Villa – Invite family or friends to join your safari adventure, breathtaking views over the rolling hills of Madikwe, and offers that genuine wrap-around bushveld feeling. Ideally suited to two couples or a small family. Tlou has 2 beautiful bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. We have included an outdoor shower for a fresh invigorating experience on those hot African days.

Fully equipped with a kitchen, living room, large patio, boma, and private splash pool. An open boma fire can be lit in the evenings where you can sit around in style and enjoy a sundowner while looking up at the stars in the clear night sky.

Inkwe Private Family House – A precious break for the whole family, Nestled amongst beautiful trees this home boasts its own large boma, an exclusive swimming pool, and a private watering hole.

The lodge has three luxurious bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The large kitchen is fully equipped for all your catering needs.

Surrounded by indigenous trees and shrubs, the bar, living room, dining room, and large patio completely immerse you in the bushveld. The prolific birdlife around the lodge adds to your wonderful safari experience.

Book the lodge – Looking for something more exclusive? You can get sole use of the lodge when you book all four villas! Host up to 14 guests and let our experienced staff take care of all your requirements. You will also have full and private access to our entertainment area, which includes the beautiful deck, swimming pool, boma, lounge and bar.

Getting here – Jump on a flight we are 4.5 – 5 hours drive from Johannesburg, before arriving at this majestic reserve, and the diverse animals, birds, trees, and grasses who call it home. Close to the edge of the Kalahari Desert, and much larger than most other reserves, you can be assured of unparalleled game viewing experiences aplenty!

When to Visit Us – destination year-round, however, the different seasons help to anticipate what to pack and expect. Regardless of the weather, our rangers will take you out on your daily safari.

October to April is our hot and rainy summer season. Scattered thunderstorms, lightning storms and roaring thunder with downpours, give relief from hot and sunny days. Expect an average of 31°C daily (88°F). Don’t forget sunscreen and hats.

Winter (May to September) is generally sunny and temperate, with starry, chilly nights and occasional rain. You can bank on 22°C (72°F) in the daytime and 2°C (35.5°F) at night.
