Here you will be in the middle of unspoiled nature in a laid back atmosphere, enjoying hospitality and service from a young and enthusiastic team.
Our vision is to offer rustic charm and comfort to our guests in a sustainable, environment friendly manner. We have six individually designed rooms with a mix of Swahili inspired and modern Chic style.
ROOMS – Each of the rooms has wooden king size beds, cotton linen, luxury soap products from Dada Zanzibar and a small lounge area. You can choose between a private bungalow, rooftop terrace room with ocean view and the spacious rooms on the ground floor with garden/ pool view.
DINING – The kitchen is serving high quality and tasty food, based on fresh, sustainable and locally produced ingredients. We offer a daily lunch menu of three choices, based on our Chefs catch in the morning. Dinner is a set three-course menu.

Spend lazy days at Pangani Cliffs Lodge, drinking fresh juice and a selection of good wines and cocktails by the pool bar, chill in a hammock on the edge of the cliffs, enjoy the spectacular view of the Indian ocean and wake up to the sound of waves and birdsong.
Local Area – Kikokwe is the closest village to the lodge, just a five minute – walk away. Pangani Cliffs Lodge emphasize good relations with the local community and locals have been involved from the very beginning and throughout the building process. Also most of the present lodge staff are recruited locally.
Pangani town, which is situated by the mouth of Pangani River is an historical town worth seeing, established before 6th Century BC as a coastal dhow port. This small town has in it’s authentic appearance an interesting story to tell about coastal culture in general, Arabic influence, German and British colonial era in Tanganyika and exporting of slaves and ivory to the Zanzibar markets.
