The guest house, SPA and conference facility are conveniently situated on 2 hectares with gardens full of flowers on the Bergriver on the outskirts of Wellington, the Western Cape, South Africa, a beautiful and historic town, surrounded by beautiful countryside, in the heart of South Africa’s Wine lands.

Lady Loch Country House is situated 45 minutes from Cape Town (International Airport), 20 minutes from Paarl, 30 minutes from Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.

2 x Family Suite: (2 units) – The family suite has two separate rooms and these two rooms share a separate bathroom and toilette. The one room has a king-size bed and the other room could be made to have either 2 single beds or one king-size bed. The first room has a TV and there is also a bar fridge, coffee & tea facilities. Aircon for both.

1 x Self-Catering – This spacious, air-conditioned suite features a separate seating area with a small kitchenette, equipped with a microwave, stovetop, oven, bar fridge and tea-and-coffee-making. The suite has a TV with satellite channels and overlooks the vineyards and gardens. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower.

We are Dutch and French couple who took over Lady Loch Country House in June 2019. We built  a Spa/treatment room, a pool of 12 x 9 meters, refurnished all the rooms with flat screens and free Wi-Fi on high speed internet.

We love to accommodate our guests and make their stay fantastic with warm memories to our daily fresh pastries, waffle with homemade jams at breakfast, booking nice restaurants and guide them to the Wine lands with tips and all the help we can give.

You can use Lady Loch Country House as a base to visit the entire Winelands. You can still hear the fish eagle call and admire beautiful sun sets on the patio whit a glass wine of our local selection.

You can do many routes of hiking/biking trails in the Drakenstein Mountains, the best wine tasting farms of Africa within 30 minutes’ drive. Cape Town 45 min drive, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl around the corner and wellington with the famous Lady Loch Bridge and the Bainskloof Pass at your feet.
