Snorkeling Excursions – Snorkeling is one of the most popular non- diving activities in the Maldives. Great snorkeling spots are just a short boat ride away, where you will see plenty of colorful marine and coral life.

VELIDHOO ISLAND – A local island in Noonu Atoll, located 166km away from the capital Male’. The island measures approximately 1330 meters long and 650 meters in size. Travel by Local Ferry Speedboat from Male City is around 2.5 hours and travel by speedboat from Maafaru Airport is 35 minutes.
People on this island are warm and friendly, with a population of around 3,000. Visitors have the opportunity to witness true local culture, island life, and daily livelihood of the people. Amongst some of the attractions are Boat Building, Slipway, Fish Market, Big Banyan Tree and our local beach.
Tourism was introduced to Noonu Atoll just a few years ago. Therefore guests have chance to experience breathtaking uninhabited islands, sandbanks, and untouched coral reefs. Velidhoo island itself has a pristine house reef that is unparalleled.
The nearest resort islands are Robinson Club Maldives, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Resort & Spa, Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc Randheli and Noku Maldives.
Getting Here – A speedboat ferry from Male operates on Saturday, Monday, and Thursday, departing Male at 7am, and for return departing Velidhoo at 1:30pm the same days.
Connecting flights from Maafaru Airport (accessible from Velidhoo via private speedboat) operate daily at various times.
