Hillside Half Moon Blue overlooking the hotel’s private and secluded Bay only a few steps away has been established by former fashion Model Gloria Jones-Knapp. Gloria has successfully transformed a hundred-and-fifty year old Donkey Cart House into an elegant boutique Hotel.

Eight suites and a spectacular Penthouse loft overlook the horizon, the half moon shaped Bacolet Bay and the infinity swimming pool where midnight swims are a must!

Rooms & Decor

Private staircase opens up to spacious verandas with chaise lounges and white oversized bucket chairs. Wooden jalousied doors and high ceilings create the privacy of king sized four poster beds decorated with floor length white nettings. Each room is individually styled.

On a clear day you can see the sister isle of Trinidad. These breathtaking panoramic views with their romantic surf washed coves can be seen from our balconies with the beach only a 2 minute trot away.

Location

Set amidst gardens of palms, bamboo, and bougainvillea, the hotel is located near along the coast line of Bacolet. The beach, only few steps away. Shopping amenities are situated about 2 km away, in the centre of Scarborough.

Tourist attractions, such as the Buccoo Reef or the Argyle waterfalls are respectively 17 km and 10 km from the hotel, and a forest starts only 30 km away. Charlotteville lies approximately 35 km away.

Preserved in colonial style, the rooms offer jalousie windows with spectacular views of the half-moon shape bay of Bacolet and the pool – a backdrop for a peaceful, romantic day and exotic night. A door opens up onto a veranda furnished with rattan chaise longues and chairs.

All the rooms are air-conditioned and include an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, cable TV and Internet access. In addition, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a safe are also provided in all lodgings as standard.
The resort features a swimming pool as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use.

Open from the morning ‘til night Café Havana restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner or room service for those wishing to dine in the privacy of their own balcony.

Green Heart Wood covers the floor over three levels which make up the restaurant with each level providing panoramic ocean views.

‘Foodies’ will love the selection of dining including local and international dishes as well as Asian-Cuban cuisine, superbly paired with our club cocktails to quench your thirst.

A melody of Cuban-Asian-Creole Delicacies featuring Seafood, Churrasco steak and plantains and Local Callaloo soup, peppers and hand rolled Sushi for Sushi lovers. Specials are offered daily.

These gentle giants of the sea rise onto the beaches all around Tobago to nest and lay their eggs, thus giving the opportunity to observe the nearly extinct creatures from very close.
