Great Fosters is an endlessly charming Tudor estate steeped in royal history, located just 15 minutes from Heathrow’s T5. Set in 50 acres of stunning gardens and parkland, which include a listed topiary garden, Saxon moat with Japanese bridge the instantly recognisable red-brick facade of the Grade one listed building and distinctive chimney tops are a sight to behold as you drive up to the front door.
Inside, you will find a chocolate-box selection of 56 individually designed bedrooms and suites, including the famed historic suites and two acclaimed restaurants. Rooms: Bedrooms at Great Fosters are defined by their style, character and size. From the charming ‘Cosy’ rooms, to the larger ‘Comfy Kings’, either in The Coach House & Cloisters or the Main House, and finally the Luxury Super King rooms in The Coach House and Dower House, all are luxurious havens, complete with fine linen, Temple Spa amenities and signature Great Fosters robes.
For larger and more luxurious rooms still, take a look at their stunning suites & historic rooms & suites. All rooms in The Dower House and Cloisters are dog friendly.
Utopia Retreat: The hotel boasts an outdoor heated outdoor pool & hot tub (open May – September) and three treatment rooms and is available to all residents as part of their stay. Pool days can also be booked for guests just coming for the day.
Dining: The Tudor Room, the hotel’s fine dining restaurant offers an exceptional tasting menu from Wednesday to Saturday whilst The Estate Grill is a more informal 2-AA rosette awarded restaurant for delicious dining seven days a week.
Along the eastern side of the hotel you will find stunning terraces, intimate gardens and nooks & crannies – perfect for enjoying al fresco dining. Great Fosters is renowned for its afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed in front of a log fire or in the summer on the terraces by the Saxon moat.
