At ECO, experience a fresh, modern take on authentic island living in Barbados. ECO Lifestyle + Lodge is an intimate boutique hotel located on the idyllic East Coast of Barbados, facing the Atlantic Ocean.

Here you’ll find breezy carefree days and tranquil starlit nights, where your time is your own and your pace is determined by the beat of your own drum.

Our rooms are designed with comfort in mind; up-cycled mahogany furniture, soft linens and artisanal bath products invite you to unwind. All rooms face east; each day starts with an illuminating sunrise and ends with a sunset drenched in color.

Rooms: ECO has just 10 rooms spread across the main house and cottage, giving it a friendly and relaxed vibe ideal for couples and small groups, as well as the solo traveller.

We want you to feel like you can kick off your shoes, unplug your devices (but don’t worry, there’s free Wi-Fi and workspaces) and truly unwind.

• main house studios – located on the main level of the ECO Lodge, opening on to a classic porch with Adirondack chairs facing the Atlantic Ocean. Cozy and inviting, they’re the perfect getaway for singles or couples.
• carib suite – is located on the main level of the ECO Lodge. Situated on the corner with an extra window facing east, the room enjoys cool sea breezes and the early morning light of the spectacular East Coast sunrise. Enjoy relaxing on your personal hammock.
• high rock suite – is a top floor corner suite Main Guesthouse with a beautiful bedroom and sitting area and separate kitchen with dining table. The Suite can be combined with the “Parlor Room” to create a two-bedroom apartment that can accommodate parties of four.
• parlor room – offers guests flexibility – the king size bed can be separated into two twin beds on request. The Room can also be combined with the “High Rock Suite” to create a two-bedroom apartment that can accommodate parties of four.
• soup bowl apartment – is your home away from home – with island flair. Enjoy fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean from your patio; double doors lead into the apartment where you’ll find plenty of living space.
• maycocks suite + tropicana studio – Located down a gentle slope from the ECO Lodge, the ECO Cottage has two superior rooms on the top floor; these cozy retreats share an oceanfront patio, divided by a locally made wooden partition, with Adirondack chairs and hammocks, ideal for relaxing in the sea breeze.
• batts rock apartment – The ground floor Batts Rock Apartment is ideal for couples on a romantic getaway or Caribbean honeymoon. Enjoy the comfort of our full amenities enhanced with an island touch – sea breezes, ocean waves and tropical views.

Dining: The ECO Restaurant supports our aim to live a healthy, sustainable lifestyle with a primarily plant-based and organic menu. Keeping to ECO’s excellence in gastronomy, locally known baker- Richard White- has joined our team to deliver the utmost excellence in freshly baked breads and pizza dough on the island!

ECO bar: You’ll find both traditional and artisanal cocktails at our ECO Bar. There’s nothing quite like an East Coast sunset. As the moon rises, the nightlife here runs at a quieter pace – you’ll have the sound of the waves, some good stories shared with fellow guests and a sky full of stars to entertain you. From time to time we’ll feature low-key live music and instruments are available if you’re up for a spontaneous jam session. You might even get Chef Alisha to come out and sing a song or two – she’s an incredibly talented singer!

WEDDINGS + PARTIES: With its breathtaking views, serene ambiance and natural beauty, ECO Lodge is the perfect setting for intimate weddings and celebrations in Barbados. We recommend taking out insurance against the possibility of cancellation fees which are as follows:

A refund of the deposit is only valid if it is cancelled more than 21 days prior to arrival. No refunds will be made within 21 days of the proposed arrival or after arrival (year round). No shows and early departures shall be deemed to be cancellations.
