Located on one of the most beautiful and lively beaches in Vilanculos, Casa Babi is a Boutique Guest House with a real B&B atmosphere and one of the special accommodation in town.

All our rooms overlook the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago. They offer great comfort and fantastic sea-views, one step away from the beach. Our swimming pool, restaurant, in-house dive center and kite-surf school will add to your comfort and pleasure during your stay.

Whether you choose one of the 4 deluxe sea-view bedrooms or the family cottage, the large mosquito nets, silent wooden fans, spacious and bright bathrooms, will contribute to a most enjoyable stay.

“Deluxe” sea view room – In the main building, the 4 deluxe rooms benefit from one of the best sea views in Vilanculos. All have a private veranda from where you will enjoy amazing views of the Bazaruto Islands and the incredible beach life of an authentic African fishing village. The king size bed can be separated in 2 comfortable single beds for those who prefer.

“Tucul” – Family & self-catering cottage – Nestling in the back of our lush garden, this cottage has 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge. From the veranda you will enjoy a refreshing sea breeze from the ocean and a bit of a sea view. It can comfortably sleep 5 people. For those not in the mood for cooking, our restaurant is available.

Dining – Our kitchen is proud to offer a creative and fresh cuisine – an Italian, French, Thai and Mozambican fusion! At breakfast we will treat you to a variety of home-made breads and jams, tropical fruits and freshly squeezed juices, muesli, yogurt, your choice of eggs – and more!

Among our specialties: risotto with clams, green papaya salad with prawns, stuffed calamaris, Mozambican specialties, baobab tart, banana ice cream, a large variety of vegetarian dishes, etc…

Activities: Dive & Kite & Go – We are the only accommodation in town to have an on-site activity center that offers diving, snorkeling and kite-surfing.

Getting here – 750 km from Maputo and 1300 km from Johannesburg, Vilanculos is easy to access either by road or by air.

Air: 2 airlines connect Vilanculos to Johannesburg and Maputo on a daily base, Inhambane and Kruger National Park a few times a week:

– Airlink has daily flight from and to Johannesburg and Kruger National Park / LAM (Linhas Aereas de Moçambique) from and to Maputo, Inhambane and Johannesburg.
