Each of our 59 historic cottages have been well-preserved and lovingly refreshed while still retaining the charm and rustic quality of plantation-era homes. Offering casual Hawaiian décor and ranging in size from one to five bedrooms, you’re assured of plenty of space and all the comforts of home – whether you’re in Kaua’i on a couple’s escape, or for a fun family vacation.

Each cottage is unique in design and layout, and all of them contain fully equipped kitchens, living areas, and private lanais. Some offer full or partial ocean views; others look out onto the resort’s lush gardens.

Wi-fi in your cottage and throughout the property keeps you connected, and triple-sheeted bedding encourages restful sleep after a day of activity (or relaxation). All cottages are air conditioned in every room, enduring comfort regardless of the weather.

Kick back in front of your flat-screen TV and watch a film; all of our accommodations include a DVD player, and movies are available for free in the lobby.

The historic Manager’s Cottage is a gracious, craftsman-style oceanfront home featuring 5 bedrooms and 4,300 square feet. Set in the center of our picturesque, 43-acre resort on a wide green lawn at the edge of the 2-mile long black-sand beach, it is tailor made for a romantic wedding.

Most nuptials are held under the 100-foot-tall Banyan Tree in front of the cottage followed by a wedding reception on the lawn al fresco under the stars or possibly under an event tent complete with dance floor. Every wedding at Waimea Plantation Cottages is highly customized. You will receive a list of very experienced, authorized wedding planners to choose from. These professionals will help you create the wedding of your dreams.
