The Pyramids and The Sphinx

Al-Azhar Mosque

Cairo tower
It’s one of the most recent landmarks of Cairo in the center of Gezirah. It’s 187 meters high and two storeys top it. The first level has a revolving restaurant and cafeteria. The rooftop floor provides a panoramic view of Cairo and its suburbs through telescopes.

Inaugurated on 1988, following a void, since the burning down of Cairo’s world famous Opera House in 1971. Stand on the Gezirah Island surrounded by other cultural centers: Museum of Egyptian Modern Arts, Nile Gallery, The Plastic Artists’ Association and El Hannager Theatre. The Cairo Opera House provides the most comprehensive technical and stage facilities in Africa and the Middle East. In addition of presenting the various cultures of the world, it also present : Cairo Symphony Orchestra, Cairo Opera Choir, Arabic Music Ensemble, National Arabic Music Ensemble and the Cairo Opera Children’s Choir.
