Between jungle and sea, Al natural Resort is a comfortable and private retreat, perfectly integrated into the lush tropical environement.
The resort is located on the secluded beach of Old Point (Punta Vieja), on the southeast tip of Bastimentos Island in an area renowned for its natural beauty right across from the Zapatillas Keys of the Bastimentos Island National Marine Park in the archipelago of Bocas del Toro.
The resort elegantly combines the ancestral craftmanship of the Ngobe-Bugle Indians with new technologies that allow us to harvest energy from the sun and limit our impact on the ecosystem. the resort is situated on a small secluded beach far from Bocas town, surrronded bu luxuriant vegatation and close to the natural wonders of bastimentos Island national Marine park.
In order to provide each guest with maximum privacy, it is our goal to maintain an intimate scale for the resort, there are only seven beach bungalows, each of a different size and unique design.
Al Natural is an authentic eco-resort with a relax atmosphere and a friendly team which offers a comfortable level of personalized services. Gourmet Meals, prepared with fresh local products by our european Chef, are served in our two-story restaurant.
We are proud to introduce our new lodging option at Al Natural Resort: our Beachfront Villa At Al Natural which is composed by three beachfront loft-style apartments which are offered together with all the services and meals of Al Natural Resort. This all-newly built place is located on the same secluded beach than Al Natural at 8 minutes walk.
BUNGALOWS – All the bungalows are stilt houses and are situated right on the beach. They provide occupants with uninterrupted views of the water and surrounding flora and fauna.
The front part of the bungalow is open to the sea and the back is enclosed with 3/4 high walls. If you want to close the bungalows, it is very easy as they are equipped with canvas curtains. All beds have orthopedic mattresses and custom-made no see-um mosquito nettings. All bungalows are equipped with a hammock, reading chairs and a coffee table, as well as a locker and a safe for valuables.
Each bungalow is unique, and is composed of a terrace, private bathroom with hot and cold water, good lighting powered by a 12 volt solar powered electrical system. The exclusive features of the Superior bungalows are one King size bed, a very efficient ceiling fan and a wooden lounge chair.
We are offering 7 different bungalows: one Natural House, three Superior Natural Houses, one Two-story Natural House, one Superior Two-story Natural House, and one Three-bedroom Natural House.
BEACH FRONT VILLA AT AL NATURAL – We are proud to introduce our new lodging option at Al Natural Resort: our all-new multi-unit beachfront villa composed by three loft-style apartments which are offered together with the Al Natural Villa Package which includes all the services and meals offered by Al Natural Resort.
Our new two-story restaurant has a canopy observation tower great for birding. The second story of the restaurant has a great game-room with many board games, which make a great place for yoga lover too. Also, we have a recreative building with a ping-pong table use as much by our guests than by our local crew and friends, which generate great encounters.
Activities: kayak and snorkel the reefs / Hobie Cat / Nature trails / Diving & Snorkelling – we are offering diving & PADi certifications.
*** Please note that we are now offering scuba diving and PADI courses at Al Natural. We are at the best spot to offer the most exclusive dives in the whole archipelago; indeed, we are the only dive operator in the archipelago of Bocas del Toro who offers regularly dives to the protected waters & reefs around the Zapatillas Cays in the National Marine Park where many impressive wall dives and caves can be explored when the sea allows it & who offers them at a competitive price due to our location, as we are far away from Bocas, but closest to the best dive sites & the Bastimentos National Marine Park. Al Natural and its lagoon is a great and safe place to do a Discovery Dive and experience fort the first time the magic of the underwater world.

Our rates include transfers from Bocas airport and the return to the town of Bocas at set time, as described below, three daily meals, wine with dinner and free use of the kayaks and snorkel equipment. There is a 8.5% local taxes to be added to those prices. Gratuities are not included. To confirm a reservation, we need to receive a 50% deposit at time of reservation

INFO REGARDING BOAT TRANSFERS: In order to limit our carbon footprint, please note that we are trying to do only one trip per day between Bocas & the hotel. We have only one boat leaving Bocas between 11:00 and 12:00 every day.
Shall you choose an afternoon plane arrival, we will set an extra boat transfer for you; we charge for an afternoon boat transfer a low extra cost of $50.00 for the trip. Our afternoon boat leaves Bocas between 4:00 and 4:30 PM. If you travel with the plane that arrives from Panama City at 6:00pm to Bocas, which we do not recommend as it is too late & you risk to arrive to the hotel after night fall, the extra charge is $65.00.
On your departing day from Al Natural, we try to have only one boat leaving the hotel Al Natural any time between 8:00 and 9:30 am, depending on the guests schedule requirement. If there si no other option that booking the 7:30 AM Air Panama morning flight, we will take you in time to Bocas to catch that flight, please note that you need to leave the hotel by 5:30 am and that this transfer carry an extra cost of $50.00 (if we need to do that day our regular morning transfers).
Should you choose to leave the hotel in the afternoon, please note that 1- the afternoon transfer leaves the hotel between 1:30PM & 2:30PM, depending on the guests schedule requirement; 2- that if you have arrived in the morning and leave in the afternoon, there is an extra cost of $15.00 p.p. for the lunch on your departing day which is not included in your daily package; and 3- the Check-in time is 12:00 am and the check-out time of the bungalow is no later than 11:00 am if the bungalow is rented the day you leave and that the guests are arriving in the morning. For your convenience, there is a place where you can leave belongings, change clothe and take a shower at the resort.
If this schedule above does not fit your own, please note that sometime we are able to offer you an afternoon arrival and/or early morning departure without the $50.00 extra cost (for instance if we do not have to do our regular morning boat transfer that day).
