The apartments are set in the grounds of a Tudor house in a rural, peaceful location about a quarter of a mile from the village of Dorney.
Dorney Self Catering Apartments are an ideal solution for a stress-free stay, offering the freedom to feel as if it were your own home, with kitchen facilities and private areas to cook, dine and relax both inside and out. There is also a BBQ.
The apartments are surrounded by open fields with no traffic, yet Windsor and Eton are only a short walk away along the River Thames. If you wish to eat out, there are many local restaurants or you can walk across the common to the Palmer Arms pub or a little bit further to the Pineapple pub.
Although you will feel you are relaxing in the country after work, you still have the benefit of being within 7 minutes of the M4 and the towns of Windsor, Maidenhead and Slough and a short drive or train journey via Waterloo or Paddington.
The River Thames and Boveney Lock are a short stroll away and Windsor and Eton are less than three miles from Dorney. Maidenhead, Bray, Cookham, Bourne End and Henley are within half an hour’s drive or less and Beaconsfield and Oxford are also within easy reach by car.
If you plan to visit London we recommend you take the train from Slough station to Paddington where the underground trains or buses will take you directly to the centre in less than an hour. You can park your car at Slough or Taplow railway station.
Apartments: Each of the apartments can accommodate singles, couples or a family, and when combined they can be block-booked by groups of up to 19 people (some on single 3ft sofa beds).
