Chalets Bougainville is a self-catering accommodations on the south-east coastline of Mahe Island in a quiet and peaceful hillside location, surrounded by tropical vegetation and only a 5-minute drive from Anse Royale.
Our property is nestled on a hill side along the southeast coast surrounded of a rain forest flora and our chalets promise absolute privacy, peace and breathtaking ocean views. (about 50m above sea level)
Just below our chalets you find a beautiful little bay, if you walk 3-5 minutes more you find the beach Anse Parnel with a restaurant called “Surfers”. Direct in front of us there is the Bougainville Surf spot. Also next to us there is a shop and a vegitable stall by the road where you can buy fruits and vegetable. From our location you are very fast in Anse Royal where you find today Bank, ATM, Shops, Restaurants etc.
We have also nearby a bus stop and shop, 3-5 minutes walk. Not far from us are all known beaches on the west coast like Anse Intendance, Takamaka etc as well the “Jardin du Roi”which was the first spice garden in the Colonial time. We are located in a quiet area.
We offer different Villas, Chalets and Appartment like: Villa Lemon upper and ground floor Apartment, Apartment Studio Cocos, Chalets Guava and Villa Majo.
Guest accommodations at Chalets Bougainville are fitted with telephones (Excluding Villa Lemon) offering free local calls and each unit is air-conditioned and equipped with a ceiling fan and Free high fiber optic WiFi. Cable TV is available in the House Majo, Guava and Cocos.
From each veranda you can enjoy a unique view over the ocean as well the garden with an infinity pool which is well integrated. In each unit is a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your meals and enjoy it with a fantastic view.

VILLA LEMON UPPER FLOOR APPARTMENT – a unique panoramic view, with a private entrance, this air-conditioned apartment includes 1 living room, a walk in wardrobe (Closet), 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower. The apartment offers soundproof walls, a tea and coffee maker, a seating area as well as a terrace with sea views. The unit has 1 king size bed. The size of the room is: 80sqm
VILLA MAJO – features a satellite TV, seating area a Private Entrance, a well equipped kitchen, this Unit has 2 king Size Bed, Extra Large, beach towels are not provided. Also kindly note that when booking for 2 people, guests can access only one bedroom. In case 2 bedrooms are needed the booking will be charged for 4 people. Kindly note that a damage deposit of EUR 100 is charged on this room. The size of the room is: 150sqm
VILLA GUAVA – air-conditioned chalet includes a kitchen and a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a king Size Bed. Offering sea views, the unit has a veranda and a garden. Please note, beach towels are not provided. The size of the room is: 55sqm
VILLA LEMON LOWER FLOOR APPARTMENT – air-conditioned appartment offers sea views and has a covered veranda. It offers a kitchen and a spacious bathroom and a King size Bed. beach towels are not provided. The size of the room is: 65sqm
