The picturesque town of Langebaan  is the playground of the Cape West Coast Peninsula, and natural water sport haven, within an hours’ drive from Cape Town.  Its’ sandy beaches and calm waters borders  the West Coast National Park and boast restaurants and Langebaan Accommodation  on the banks of the Lagoon.

These waters are well known as a paradise for bird watchers and is also the place where “Eve’s Footprint” was discovered. Our ancient history can further be explored at the Fossil Park just outside of town where the fossils of bears, saber-toothed cats, short necked giraffes and many other exotic animals, which inhabited the west cost some 5 million years ago, can be viewed.
