DINING: Essque Zalu Zanzibar offers two restaurants and three bars, under the culinary direction of Chef Jussi Husa, for guests to enjoy. In-room dining is also available 24 hours a day.

Market Kitchen is our all-day dining, deli-styled restaurant serving cosmopolitan flare, from a gastronomic spread of crisp salads, cured meats and the freshest seafood, to breads straight from the oven and mouthwatering desserts and cheeses. Dishes are accompanied bycarefully-selected vintages, exemplifying Chef Jussi’s belief that wine from the same hemisphere complements local ingredients, whilst also minimizing food miles.

Zanzibar International Airport is 37 mi/60 km and 50 minutes away. Travel by ferry from Dar es Salaam to Stone Town is 120 minutes, followed by a 50 minute drive from Stone Town to Essque Zalu Zanzibar.
